 Prime Minister Narendra Modi distributed 1.75 lakh Record of Rights (Adhikar Abhilekh) documents to receivers of PM SVAMITVA Scheme in an event held recently. These ROR documents act as a written evidence providing the scheme recipients to hold their rights on a specific piece of land. PM SVAMITVA scheme is expected to be completed by the end of financial year 2024-25.

 About PM SVAMITVA Yojana

GOI has recently launched Property Card Scheme (SVAMITVA Yojana). This is another important scheme introduced by the central government to serve the dual purpose of issuing ‘property cards’ (proof of ownership of the property).

Online registration for PM SVAMITVA Yojana can be done at the official website https://www.egramswaraj.gov.in/

Launched on April 24, 2021 (National Panchayat Day), with physical distribution of property cards starting in October 2020 (through video conferencing)

Enter details, name, address, mobile number and e-mail ID and land-related details.

Receive the acknowledgement along with an application number

Possessing village property

Must be using the populated land in the village on or after September 25, 2018,

Mobile Number linked with their Aadhar
