Eligibility Norms for Tamil Nadu Housing Schemes

Subsequent principles must be met while applying for any housing schemes through TNHB official website tnhb.tn.gov.in:

• The age of the applicant must be 21 years completed

• Applicant must be a native of Tamil Nadu

• Applicant must not own up any property or plots through any other state government housing schemes

• Applicant should be a salaried one to qualify for any income category

Income Criteria to apply for Tamil Nadu Housing Board Schemes

The criteria for different categories of flats varies as per income category.

• For EWS Flats – up to INR 12,000 per month

• For LIG Flats - INR 12,001 to INR 18,000 per month

• For MIG Flats - INR 18,001 to INR 37,000 per month

• For HIG Flat - INR 37,001 to INR 62,000 per month
